Hello it is time for some jelly fish fun! I made two cards very similar just playing around with my supplies.
For the backgrounds I put some metallic liquid ink on my kraft mat and watered it down. I think the first one is on Neenah paper and the second on watercolor paper. I no longer have the second one so I can’t look at it. I probably was working on the second panel and soaked up the leftovers on the first panel. I like the purple and blue together. You lose some of the shimmer though doing it this way.
On the first card I heat embossed the jelly fish using PSX silver embossing powder. I like that it is very silver.
For the second card I decided I wanted a thicker line for the jelly fish. I used Stampendous Chunky Silver embossing powder. I like that it stands out more but the silver is kind of a tarnished silver and I would probably rather have a regular silver look. Does anyone know of a nice thicker silver embossing powder?
For the sentiments I cut them out of colored paper and put a glaze over them. One is blue and one is dark purple.
