Karen – You are here!
Here is the coffee card I made for this fun hop. And me.. yes I love coffee. I have a coffee bean roaster and a grinder. Sometimes I roast my own beans. I only drink one cup a day and I want some good coffee. I think there will be an afternoon decaf going on today!
To create the background I used the Hero Arts Holiday Petals & Leaves stamp set. I took all the little leaves and put them on one block and stamped on the kraft paper with Versamark.
The coffee cups are from a couple different digital sets that are available in the a2z Scrapbooking Etsy shop. The digital kits that I used are Hero Arts Kitchen Silhouettes, Hero Arts Caffeine Fix and Sugartree Stamps Hug In a Mug. I listed these as they go across the card from left to right. I colored the mugs with Copics. The leaf on the one mug is from the background stamp that I colored with a Gelly Roll pen and cut out. The sleeve and the heart on the other mugs were part of the images. I did all of the gold accenting with a gold metallic Gelly Roll pen and I love that thing.
The multi color strip is alcohol ink on regular paper. Kind of funny, it is some piece of paper my husband grabbed at a hotel and gave to me. It is thick and has a nice texture. It is hard to see in the photo but there is some gold alcohol ink on there too.
The sentiment is die cut twice for a bit of dimension.

Howdy! Merry Christmas to you all. It is just about here and we are winding down 2018. Boy does time fly. Today I have a card I made using digital images from the a2z Etsy shop. I had this on my mind after another fun coffee blog hop.
I started out by printing the background trees from the Hero Arts A Natural Christmas Digital Cut File on some Neenah cardstock. Then I sized a mug from the Sugartree Stamps Hug in a Mug digital kit. I put the tree background paper back in the printer and printed the mug right over it. I cut out the mug by hand.
Then on to creating the scene. I sized the deer, the tree, and bird to fit on my mug and cut them out using my Silhouette Cameo. All of these are in the Hero Arts A Natural Christmas Digital Cut File along with a couple more deer, a sentiment, another bird and a branch. I really like the look of this kit because it has a rustic feel. You can cut all of the images out of fun paper or color them. The deer is cut from a wood grain paper and the tree from a green paper with a very subtle pattern. The bird I colored with a Copic pen. The star is colored with a Gelly Roll metallic pen and the lights on the tree are done with Nuvo drops.
I almost forgot to mention… I popped up the mug using fun foam.
While getting ready to post this my darn camera was acting up and saying communication error when I tried to move the photos from the camera to my camera. Very frustrating when you need to get it done. I ended up getting a decent picture with my phone which was surprising. In case this happens to you it may be that your camera memory card is to full. Once I moved some photos off the memory card it all starting working as normal again.

Howdy! We are now into fall which brings thoughts of Halloween, leaves turning colors and Thanksgiving. I love to decorate for Halloween (fun not gory) and I am still thinking about all the fun coffee cards from last weekend so I combine the two. Here is a Halloween coffee card for you.
I started out making the mugs which are digital images by Sugartree stamps. I used the mug outlines for these. There are 11 different cups of coffee in this set, some with sayings, some blank and some with designs on them. I used Paint 3D and sized the mugs. I used words from the Hero Arts Spooky Labels digital kit and the little pumpkin from the Hero Arts Haunted digital kit to decorate the mugs. I printed the images on Neenah paper colored them using Copic pens. I cut them out by hand.
The panel right behind the mugs was fun to create. I used the Hero Arts Wood Floor bold print stamp to create the pattern in orange, purple and green inks. I used my Misti and stamped horizontal with the first color. I turned the paper so that the next stamp ended up vertical with the second color of ink. I turned the paper one more time for the third color for a diagonal. I like the pattern it made and it would work for many different situations by just using different ink colors.
The orange and purple layers are patterned paper from my stash. The green background paper is from my stash. I rounded the corners and cut the shapes using a Bo Bunny die.
The middle coffee cup is glued flat on the pattern panel. The other two mugs are raised with Glue Dots.
Entered in the Love Handmade Cards Challenge for October. The theme is Anything Goes.
