My Favorite Things Fresh Cut Flowers Background

Catching up as usual but I think this finishes off April. I know April was over weeks ago. Some day maybe I’ll be ahead.

Here we go with some heat embossing and watercoloring. One of those I think I can remember what I did.

I heat embossed the flowers on some watercolor paper using copper embossing powder. I used Distress Ink to watercolor the flowers and leaves. If I am going to be honest I watercolored the background more to cover up a few spots more than just coloring it. Kind of different for me. I do like how it turned out though.

The mat under the flower panel is some Distress Metallic Kraft-Stock.

The sentiment is heat embossed.

Supplies:

  • My Favorite Things Fresh Cut Flowers Background stamp
  • Distress Inks
  • Copper embossing powder
  • Distress Metallic Kraft-Stock

Tim Holtz Wildflower Stems 2 Birthday Card

This one got by me… So here I am to get it posted. Some Tim Holtz flowers for my sister.

Tim Holtz Distress Reinkers

For the background I used some Tim Holtz woodgrain paper. It was already ink blended. Then I added to it using crayons Bundled Sage and Tea Dye to give it some highlights. I splattered some Antique Linen Distress paint on it also.

The flowers are die cut and water colored using reinkers.

The sentiment is made by die cutting a banner and ink blending Distress Oxide ink. The sentiment is from the Tim Holtz set Saying Stuff stamp set.
