Ah what fun, a National Coffee Day blog hop. I’m excited to be part of this for the first time! I can’t wait to see all the coffee cards.
I created a coffee card using a Hero Arts digital image from the a2z Scrapbooking Etsy store. The images are from the digital kit Caffeine Fix DK114.
To start off my card I used Paint 3D to arrange and alter the images. I changed the shape and color of one mug image to create the two. That is the beauty of working with digital images you can change so many things to make it your own. I printed the coffee “scene” on Neenah paper.
I cut out my coffee “scene” using a Spellbinders die along with the mat. I inked around the edges of each layer using some Quick Quotes ink.
To add a little more interest I went over a couple of the words with Nuvo Crystal Drops. It pulled in a bit of the printed ink which I like. I went over the coffee steam with a Copic pen to make it stand out a bit more. Then I splattered some Hero Arts liquid watercolor over it all.
The two top layers have a piece of fun foam under them to add some dimension.
Check out the cards made by my team mates on their blogs!
