This was a fun one since I love owls. I had the background done awhile ago and picked it up recently and thought I need to use it soon. So it was a good one for this cute owl.

The background is done using a stencil and ink blending over it with Oxide Distress inks.
The owl was stamped, colored with Copics and cut out by hand.
The sentiment is die cut and I colored it with Copics using the same colors that are on the birthday hat.
Supplies:
- Background sun – Memory Box stencil Brilliant
- Owl – Birthday Whoots by Art Impressions
- Sentiment – Simon Says Stamp Painted Happy Birthday die
- Copic Pens

Also entered in the Simon Says Stamp challenge in Flickr of favorite technique. As far as my favorite technique there is a lot I like to do. On this card I did some favorites using a stencil and coloring with Copics. Funny thing is I did not like Copics when I first used them and now I have a bunch.
