Bo Bunny Christmas Card Die with Alcohol Ink

Here I am today with a shiny Christmas card. I have made a couple Christmas cards so far this year but I need to make some more per month to avoid the last minute rush. Been there done that.

Alcohol Ink

For the background I was trying a few things that Tim Holtz showed on his product release video recently. I used alcohol inks, blending solution and some 91 percent alcohol. I bought a blower thing that you use with cameras awhile back. I cut more of the tip off trying to make a bigger hole so I wanted to try using it. I made a couple of panels that are this pretty blue. As we know taking photos of shiny stuff is difficult so I will just say this looks much prettier in person.

All the silver parts were cut out with a die set and I used the Tim Holtz metallic paper.

Supplies:

  • Ranger Alcohol Ink – a couple blue colors
  • Bo Bunny Christmas Card Dies set
  • Tim Holtz Metallic Paper

Die Cutting and Alcohol Ink With Wild Flower Stems 2

Hello again.. I am here today with some alcohol ink fun. After seeing Tim Holtz demo them recently I got them out and played.

Wild Flower Stems 2 Die Set

For this background I started with Yupo paper and purple, pink, and gold mixative alcohol inks. I also used 91% alcohol, blending solution, and an air blowing thing to move the ink around.

The flower stems are die cut.

The sentiment is heat embossed on vellum and the strip die cut.
