White Flowers Sympathy

This is for a couple that we have been friends with a long time. His father recently passed away. I love making all kinds of cards but it seems I have been making to many sympathy cards.

The background is made with Distress inks used like watercolor paint. I wet the watercolor paper first and then put the ink on my kraft sheet and misted it with water. Then I painted it on the background.

Flowers – A stamp I just got at a cool Scrapbooking/Stamping store in Laramie Wyoming. See this blog post about the store. It is a Hero Arts stamp called Wildflower Garden (CG170). It is kind of similar to another stamp by Hero Arts but this is a taller stamp which I like. Yes I have them both. I white embossed the flowers.

The sentiment – This is from a stamp set by darkroom door called Bright Blossoms Vol 2. I like the font on this one.

Pearl bling was added for an accent.

Sheet music – Stampington & Co stamp called LG Sheet Music stamped with Broken China Distress Ink.
