Die Cutting with The Park By Tim Holtz

Here we go with some catch up like lots of catch up. I have had a couple of busy months so the card making is lighter and the posting even less.

Here is two cards I made for my sister-in-laws birthday and my sisters birthday.

I finally used The Park dies. I bought that set mostly with my sister-in-law in mind and yes this card is for her.
Ink smooshed background using Tumbled Glass Oxide ink.
The kite, Mary Poppins, the butterflies are all die cut using the The Park die set. The kite is die cut from felt. The butterflies have Embossing Glaze which sometimes didn’t stay on them for some reason. I ink blended Oxides and then glazed over that and then die cut the butterflies.
The flowers are die cut from the Flower Jar die set.
I am really pleased with how this came out.

So I copied myself and made another Mary Poppins card. This one I sent to my sister. This time I cut the umbrella out from the Worn Wallpaper Scraps.
