Heat Embossing with a Hero Arts Jelly Fish Party

My Dad is the popular one this month. Fathers Day and his birthday with in two weeks. So here is the card I made for him for his birthday.

Karen Burniston Happy Birthday die

This was a fairly straight forward card to make. On the background I did ink smooshing first with Distress Oxide ink and then Distress ink. When it was dry I went over it with my powder tool, stamped the jelly fish and heat embossed using silver embossing powder. The sentiment is die cut 3 times. The top layer is colored using Distress ink.

Entered in the Die Cut Divas June Challenge.

Also entered over at Hero Arts for their Stay Crafty Challenge For the Guys.

Supplies:

  • Distress Oxide ink – Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean
  • Distress ink – Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch
  • Silver Embossing Powder
  • Hero Arts Jellyfish Party Bold Print stamp
  • Karen Burniston Happy Birthday die
