Tim Holtz Mini Fresh Brewed Die Cutting

Howdy! Lately I have been watching the Tim Holtz demo’s on Saturday’s and decided to dig out some stuff to make a quick tag. I was kind of in a hurry (why during these days) to go pick up my coffee from my in-laws house and wanted to make a little thank you for them. They run a coffee business and were nice to leave it out for me so I could get it right away. So sometimes when you are in a hurry there is not overthinking the creating and you end up with something you are very happy about. Here it is!

I took regular and Oxide Distress ink pads in a couple colors of brown and put some ink down on my mat. I spritzed with water and dipped the tag in the inks. I did two layers of this drying them in between. I added the before assembly photo because I was very happy with my ink smooshing. I can’t remember if Tim calls it that but that is what I call it.

For the coffee cups I die cut them using Movers and Shapers magnetic dies. It took me a bit to remember how to use them and find all the things I needed. I love these cups so I was happy to get it all together. They are the only magnetic ones I have and I probably didn’t get how they worked when I bought them. I ink blended them with a couple blues and a bit of brown so it wasn’t so solid blue. Then I flicked some water on them. In the middle of the cold coffee drink cup I wrote the name of their coffee which is Zolo. It is good coffee. Today I tried their cold brew and it is super good!

For the sentiment I just die cut it out and ink blended over it.

For all the die cuts I used Mixed Media paper.
