Hi I am here to share a card made with the October 2019 My Monthly Hero kit. Finally.
So here we are with a retro card from the retro kit. I had to get a little advice from my son (28) while making this and I liked his suggestions. I removed the traditional snowflakes and maybe one other little change. I started out wanting a look like I have but I was trying to use several of the papers that came in the kit. That paper part didn’t work out. I had to many snowflakes and retro things on the first background so I redid that. You know we go thru steps/changes to get to the end. I love the finished card. The only thing I would change is that silver on the car. I wish it was kind of smoother if you will.
So… the car was stamped on the red paper from the kit and then cut out with the die from the kit. For the lug nuts, trim and mirror I used a Gelly Roll silver pen that wasn’t flowing super nice. I like the color of the silver though. The windows have clear Nuvo on them.
The tree and present were also stamped on the kit paper. These were also cut out with the dies from the kit. The ornaments and ribbon are colored with gold and silver.
The sentiment and the other things (not sure what you call them) on the background are from the kit also and just stamped on the background.
