a2z Scrapbooking October Challenge

Unfortunately this is our last challenge but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a good time.  So let’s make this a fun one. I hope you all can join us so we can see your nice holiday creations. I made a Christmas card. Hero Arts Home for the Holidays

To start off my card I stamped all of the images using the Hero Arts Home for the Holidays stamp set. I colored most of them with Copics except 3 of the trees. On the bottom house it is hard to see but I used a Glaze pen for the snowy roof. I also did that for the snowy parts on the top house. I cut them out using the matching dies. This is a fun set and could be used for other things.

I heat embossed the greeting with red embossing powder before gluing things down.

My original thought was just randomly put the images on the card but I don’t think this assortment of images works great for that. And my linear thinking mind took over and they got lined up. What I was trying not to do is make a scene but just images on the card.

Also before gluing things down I stamped most of the snowflakes with Frost Versamark ink. After I glued everything down I stamped a few more snowflakes.

The layered snowflakes by the sentiment are die cuts. I used the Hero Arts Snowflake Confetti die to cut them out. I have a whole bunch more to use for something else. Truth be told they are hiding something I put on the card that I did not like. You know we all figure out little tricks.

There is a nice sale going on over in the a2z Scrapbooking Etsy shop. Check it out!
