Hero Arts My Monthly Hero March 2019

Greetings! I’m stopping in today trying to catch up on the many cards I made recently. To many things going on.

Here is a card I made using the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Kit from March 2019. It is an aquarium theme. It is a good one to mix with an under the sea kit by Hero Arts from July of 2016.

My two favorite things are going on with this card. Oxide Distress ink and a really nice Hero Arts kit. I love the underwater theme and also have another kit with fish and such.

This card is pretty straight forward. I put down some Oxide Distress ink on my kraft mat. I sprayed with water and then dipped my watercolor paper in it creating the background.

Then I just die cut all of the things I wanted on the card. First was the aquarium frame which includes under water plants. Then I just picked various sea creatures and the diver and die cut them. Those who have been to the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California has probably seen when they have the diver go in the very tall tank with lot’s of seaweed and of course the fish.

Then it was just a matter of stamping the greeting.
