Here is the card that started it all. That is multiple slightly different versions of this. I made this for Hero Arts Scramble 161 10/14/17. I made several of these and never described them or blogged them. Oh no how could that be? I thought I blogged about every card since I created my blog. I wonder how many others I forgot to do? Ha! Anyway on to the card.
- Background – I stamped the poinsettia’s in Versamark using the Hero Arts set Color Layering Dimensional Bird (CL906). The berries are obviously red ink.
- The branch – I stamped the branch then die cut it using the dies (DI153) that go with the set mentioned above. The branch stamp and die seem a bit miss matched so I fixed it up a bit by coloring it.
- The bird – I stamped the bird using the same set. It is fun because all the different areas on the bird are seperate stamps so you can make it nice and colorful. I stamped a second top wing and die cut it for a little bit of layering. The feet also are cut out with a die.
- The sentiment – Guess what? It is from the same set. Just stamped on the background.
This is the version that I put aside and entered at our county fair.
These are all the versions I made with very slight differences. If you would like to comment on which one you like best that would be nice. Just use a number for reference for example card 3.
I absolutely LOVE those cards, the background (did not even think it was stamped (thought patterned papers) and I love (LOVE) all the different bird colors. Amazing.

Thanks Arlene! I so rarely make that many of the same thing. I know it saves time but I get bored doing it that way but these were fun.
