Here we have a Father’s Day card I made for my hub. He feels kind of funny about Father’s Day because he is my son’s step dad. To me he deserves the title dad for sure. He has helped raise my son since he was about 6 years old and now he is 27. He has lived with us the whole time with visits to his dad. So the fun and the challenges all happened over the years. Anyway he has been a good influence on my son Jeff. My hub and I love to go hear music and he also plays the guitar.
The background and guitar are from a stamp set that came in a card making magazine.
The background is stamped with Versamark. The guitar is heat embossed with black embossing powder and hand cut.
The happy is cut out of black paper with a die and I added some Nuvo clear to make it shiny like the guitar.
The Father’s Day is a stamp I cut apart by Hero Arts. Obviously I cut the Happy part off. I don’t like cutting them apart but sometimes that is what you need to do.
I went around the base and the background panel with some black ink to give it a little more interest.
