I got another one just barely done for Merry Monday. Challenge #264 was to use kraft and red with only just a bit of neutral colors. I love this combination and I wish I would have made a couple different ones but one is better than none.
So here we are with a fairly simple card. Red patterned paper in the background. I decided to be different and die cut kraft snowflakes. I used snowflake dies by Tattered Lace (D111). You can’t really see it in the photo but I used a Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to give them just a little sparkle. The greeting also has Spectrum Noir on it. The greeting is die cut using a Sizzix Tim Holtz set Holiday Words (660058). As usual I was putting this together at the last minute. Literally I posted it at the last minute. The greeting is not actually stuck down because the Spectrum Noir pen was dumping lot’s of liquid so I could not get the backing paper off the back or I would have messed up my die cuts. As I was writing this up I realized there is no stamping on this card which is unusual for me.
Another similar card with kraft snowflakes and a slightly different look.
That kraft background – I used a Memory Box stencil Winter Tiny Snowflakes and some white ink.
The red panel is a patterned paper which is hard to see in this photo.
The sentiment – Hero Arts set Color Layering Dimensional Bird (CL906) and white ink.
Kraft snowflakes – Same die as above.
Love, Love the craft snowflakes. Thank you for joining us this week over at Merry Monday.
