Hero Arts Scramble 147

Hero Arts Flickr Scramble 147

Betty’s theme today is create a card with the colors GOLD AND BLACK and the theme of LOVE. It can be a valentine, anniversary, wedding or any other occasion that works. White, cream or other neutrals are fine with the two main colors. For these Scrambles you need to use Hero Arts images, dies, embossing folders or stencils. You have 90 minutes to create your card or project. Betty did a 24 hour Scramble which is nice so we see more people creating.  In this case you select a 90 minute time frame that works for you.

It is funny when I started I thought that is a challenging theme. And look what happened. Two were created during the Scramble and the other one after. That is the great thing about the Scrambles. Someone comes up with a theme and it gets you thinking in a way you might not normally. I also really enjoy seeing what others come up with.

The First Card
Background – A heart from an Inkadinkadoo set stamped with gold pigment ink.
Washi tape – maybe from Hobby Lobby
Stamp/Heart image – From Hero Arts stamp set Untitled Heart (A0002) white embossed on shiny gold paper.
Sentiment – black embossed with a stamp from Hero Arts Many Everyday Messages (CL954). The sentiment is raised with foam tape.

The Second Card
Background – Firefly adhesive stencil sprayed over with Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine. My favorite spray.
Hearts – From Hero Arts stamp set Untitled Heart (A0002) white heat embossed on black paper.
Sentiment – black embossed with a stamp from Hero Arts Many Everyday Messages (CL954)

The Third Card – I switched up the color scheme on this one.
Background – A heart from an Inkadinkadoo set stamped with Versafine ink.
Washi tape – maybe from Hobby Lobby
Stamp/Heart image – From Hero Arts stamp set Untitled Heart (A0002) gold embossed on black paper.
Sentiment – white embossed with a stamp from Hero Arts Many Everyday Sayings (CL342). The sentiment is raised with foam tape.
