Valentines Cards

IMG_9979 IMG_9936

The first card I made two of them. One for my son and one for my Dad. The second I made for my hub during Hero Arts Scramble 126.

For the background I used an Impression Obsession stamp Wooden Plank. I put two different colors of Distress Ink on the stamp and stamped that on white paper. The heart is a prize from Heather from one of the Hero Arts Scrambles. It is an Xcut die. The greeting is stamped on kraft either embossed or in Hero Arts Royal Red ink and from Hero Arts set Celebrate Every Day (CL498).

This was for Betty’s Scramble and the theme was an inspiration photo. SCRAMBLE #126 INSPIRATION by bettijo (Betty)

I did hearts, branches and xoxo for my card.
Hero Arts stamps – Love Jar (CL673) & Everyday Sayings (CL342).
I stamped the jar with silver pigment ink and then created a mask to cover most of the lid so I could stamp the branches with Memento Rich Cocoa.
I used a Simon Says Stamp stencil called Balloon & Patterns to add the hearts. I used some white paste and added alcohol ink to color it. It was taking awhile to dry!
The sentiment is stamped with Hero Arts Royal Red ink which is probably my favorite ink color.
The background paper is from a 6X6 pad.

I am entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge #38.
